The Art of The Green Chile Kitchen concludes with this little series of photographs of the lovely little shop, located 601 Baker Street. This is so perfect, to have a pie shop on Baker Street. Now if that is not meant to be, what is?
Location is everything & having Green Chile Pies right on Baker Street makes for such perfect branding identity!
601 Baker Street, best pie in San Francisco, maybe even in the world!
The inviting sign outside is beautifully done, but don’t linger too long admiring it’s allure, or you might miss out on that last slice of the pie that you like best. But if that happens, don’t cry like Edith Massey did about the possibility of no more eggs, because there will be more pies, just as there will be more eggs. Don’t fret! Don’t worry. Your needs will be met!
This sign will temp you to enjoy the best pies ever!
Yes, the buttery crusts would make Julia Child quite happy, I think.
And if you do worry about eating all of the eggs & that could be something that happens, a world with no more chickens, you will have these reminders of chickens made of ceramic that decorate the shop. Let’s hope that Edith Massey’s worries won’t come true.
These are guardian chickens! They make sure that your honey is organic.
At the very first Pie shop, the chairs are very cute, with a design that makes the setting home-like & very comfortable.
The chairs have something in common with the pies. The pies are almost too pretty to eat, and the chairs are too pretty to sit upon. But you are welcome to do both! The art of eating well…
Pie for the Faithful, Our Lady’s image, part of the New Mexican culture, is present.
And this rooster will watch over all things, just in case the pie supply gets low, he will make that famous rooster sound, to alert the baker to “Hurry to Baker Street, Pies are needed.”
Mister Rooster at your service-601 Baker Street.
You scream, we scream, we dream of ice cream. And it’s right there, along with the Pie!
HERE IS THE YOU TUBE THAT SHOWS IT ALL–JUST UP THE STREET FROM THE PIE SHOP!
