Art of the Green Chile Kitchenette 314 Church Street-Feel Like Church?

If you want Church, there are still a few that have not been closed down. If you want to be on Church Street, & feel renewed by good food while surrounded by inspiring & simple decor, Green Chile Kitchen-ette is a place that will leave both appetites well nourished.

Let me tell you, their newest addition to the menu, the cakes, are a religious experience. It’s almost a sin to be the first one to buy a slice. The cakes are beautiful, something that would give artist Wayne Theibaud a run for his brushes. They are as wonderful to eat as they are to look at—’tis a total experience for the senses, visual, taste buds, tummy filling, and the texture–art you are allowed to eat.

The owner, Trevor Logan, has wisely chosen to keep with the Southwest New Mexico art influences in terms of extending the decorating influences one experiences @ the McAllister Street location, the Mother Church.

Here is a menu of some of the visual art:

The sign tells you right where you are.

This sweet ceramic chicken greets you, but quietly. She has a reddish-orange charm. Now, what might that be? Drop by & find out!

It's tiny, but don't forget to look up. The light fixture is splendidly rustic!

The star of the decor is this geometrically complex quilt, ironically adding a simple visual charm. That's two birds with one work of art, so to speak.

And this tile design you will see @ the "Mother Church" on McAllister Street, making you feel right @ home.

And the staff is very nice & happy to serve you the art you can eat while looking @ the art from your seat. Now, is that a sLOGAN?

Blue Bottle Coffee @ Green Chile Kitchen

Served by a friendly & helpful staff, the Blue Bottle coffee drinking ritual must be experienced. It’s soothing just to watch the preparation—bringing to mind that famous song by Carly Simon: ANTICIPATION! It’s a great addition to the fine food offered on the menu. Location is 1801 McAllister Street, San Francisco.

The design is simple & clean, just how you want your coffee to be.

It is made to order, so no pot of coffee is sitting around undergoing any form of evolutionary change. Yours will be fresh!
